Accessibility

Our commitment

We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site, not as a later addition.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Those guidelines are the widely accepted benchmark for making web content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. We treat AA as the target for the whole site.

What we do

• Colour contrast. Text and interface colours are checked against their backgrounds to meet the AA contrast thresholds, and re-checked whenever the palette changes.
• Keyboard access. Interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator, and a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Structure for screen readers. Pages use landmark regions, a single main heading, and a logical heading order, so the page can be navigated by structure.
• Images and controls. Meaningful images carry text alternatives, decorative images are hidden from assistive technology, and form fields have associated labels.
• Touch and responsive layout. Tap targets are sized for touch, and pages are tested across phone, tablet, and desktop widths without horizontal scrolling.
• Motion. Animation is kept minimal and respects the operating system's reduced-motion setting.

Known limitations

Our contact form and booking calendar are embedded from a third-party provider, GoHighLevel. We do not control the markup inside those embeds, so we cannot guarantee their accessibility to the same standard as the rest of the site. If an embedded form or calendar prevents you from reaching us, contact admin@goodservicecompany.com or ask for another way to get in touch, and we will arrange one.

Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state. Some parts of the site are newer than others, and we may not yet have caught every issue.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to know — it is the fastest way for us to fix it. Email admin@goodservicecompany.com. Where you can, tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five business days, and we will offer an alternative way to get the information or complete the task while we work on a fix.

Changes to this statement

We update this statement as the site changes and as we address the issues raised with us. The current version is always posted on this page, with a revised effective date shown at the top. This version is effective August 5, 2026.
